Nespresso pods recycled into compost will help restore California soil after devastating wildfires tore through L.A.

The Swiss brand will donate 100,000 pounds of compost, made from recycled coffee capsules, to a Los Angeles nonprofit that is planting trees across the city. If you’ve recycled a Nespresso capsule recently, your spent coffee grounds could help Los Angeles recover from the devastating January 2025 wildfires.
