Alongside the release of iOS 26.2 and its counterparts, Apple is also rolling out updates containing important security fixes for macOS Sequoia 15.7.3. Here’s what’s new.
Imporatant security fixes
For the past few weeks, while the macOS Tahoe 26.2 betas received most of the attention, Apple also released multiple beta versions of macOS Sonoma 14.8.3 and macOS Sequoia 15.7.3.
While only macOS Sequoia 15.7.3 has been released so far, macOS Sonoma 14.8.3 is also expected to drop soon.
For both versions, during the beta period, Apple detailed the following in the release notes:
This update provides important security fixes and is recommended for all users. For information on the security content of Apple software updates, please visit this website: https://support.apple.com/100100
Similar to iOS 18.7.3 and iPadOS 18.7.3, Apple has yet to update its support page with the specific security fixes included in today’s release, but this should happen soon.
Be that as it may, if you’re still running macOS Sequoia, it is important to update your Macs as soon as possible.
