Pluribus is the most-watched TV show ever on Apple TV. That's quite the accomplishment, considering how big its other sci-fi title, Severance, has become. Then again, this is a Vince Gilligan joint. The creator of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul has brought his signature storytelling style to Apple, and the result is excellent.
There's no Heisenberg or blue meth here, but the show does take place (mostly) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Rhea Seehorn leads the sci-fi drama, which earned a spot on our list of the best sci-fi shows on Apple TV, as Carol, a grumpy romance novelist who finds herself at the center of a bizarre pandemic that turned most of the world's population into insufferably happy people. She's one of a handful of survivors and takes it upon herself to figure out what is going on and how it can be stopped.

Pluribus release schedule: When to watch new episodes
The eighth and penultimate episode of Pluribus, titled Charm Offensive, drops on Friday on Apple TV. According to Apple, Pluribus's release schedule finds new episodes premiering every Friday. However, the service typically releases these episodes on Thursdays at 6 p.m. PT (9 p.m. ET), so technically you can watch each new episode on Thursday nights, until the finale, which is scheduled to drop on the evening of Dec. 25. Merry Christmas.
