Manchester City will look to get their title challenge back on track at home on Wednesday as they host a Brighton team aiming to end their poor record at the Etihad Stadium.
Man City had to settle for a 1-1 draw against manager-less Chelsea on Sunday after conceding an Enzo Fernandez stoppage-time equalizer, with that result meaning Pep Guardiola's men come into this game with a six-point deficit to make up on Premier League leaders, Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Brighton's 2-0 win over relegation candidates Burnley on Saturday saw them climb to 10th in the standings. Another win here could push Fabian Hürzeler's team as high as sixth place. However, such a feat would require a major break from history as the Seagulls have failed to win in 15 previous away league games against today's opponents.
Manchester City takes on Brighton on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at the Etihad Stadium, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. GMT. That makes it a 2:30 p.m. ET or 11:30 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and a 6:30 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia on Thursday morning.
