A place in Sunday's Spanish Supercopa final is the spoils for the winner on Wednesday as defending champions Barcelona take on Athletic Club at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
Hansi Flick's team will be looking to repeat last season's tournament, which saw Barcelona claim the crown after beating Real 5-2 in the final. The current La Liga leaders come into this cup clash unbeaten in Spanish domestic tournaments since October.
Athletic Club comes to the contest after playing to a 1-1 stalemate against Osasuna on Saturday -- a result which leaves Ernesto Valverde's team in 8th position in the La Liga standings.
Barcelona takes on Athletic Club at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah on Wednesday, Jan. 7. Kickoff is set for 10 p.m. AST local time in Saudi Arabia, making it a 2 p.m. ET (11 a.m. PT) start in the US and Canada, a 7 p.m. GMT start in the UK, 8 p.m. CET across Europe, and a 6 a.m. AEDT Thursday kickoff in Australia.
