New Chelsea boss Leroy Rosenior takes charge of an English Premier League match for the first time on Saturday, as the Blues host a Brentford team that continues to wildly defy their lowly preseason expectations.
It's the third capital derby for Rosenior this week, having made his debut last weekend as Chelsea boss in the 5-1 FA Cup win over Championship team Charlton. That was followed by a 3-2 defeat to Arsenal in the opening leg of their Carabao Cup semifinal on Tuesday.
Brentford, meanwhile, goes from strength to strength under rookie boss Keith Andrews. Last weekend's FA Cup win over Sheffield Wednesday means the Bees are now on a six-match unbeaten run across all competitions, and another win here could see them climb up to fourth in the EPL standings.
Chelsea takes on Brentford on Saturday, Jan. 17, at Stamford Bridge, with kickoff set for 3 p.m. GMT. That makes it a 10 a.m. ET or 7 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and a 2 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia on Sunday morning.
