The updated pack emulates classic analog film stocks, including Kodak, Fuji, and Ilford, and now supports modern cameras. Here’s how to install it.
‘Back for a limited-time only’
For a limited time, VSCO Pro subscribers can download the VSCO Film 02 Pack, which includes multiple variations of color and black-and-white presets inspired by classic film looks.
With the pack, Adobe Lightroom users can apply the filters that emulate the look and feel of analog films, while remaining in full control of every aspect of their RAW captures.
VSCO says that the standard presets “work with any camera supported by Adobe Lightroom, including RAW and JPEG files.” They include the (+), (++), and (–) variations that emulate different contrast and tonal behaviors of the same film stock.
One important detail to note is that users currently on a free trial need to contact VSCO support to get access to the pack, as it is only available to active Pro monthly or annual subscribers.
VSCO tells 9to5Mac that the Film 02 Pack was updated by Zach Hodges, photographer evangelist and the person behind the original VSCO presets, to support modern cameras.
In addition, VSCO and Hodges released a step-by-step tutorial to help users install and use the VSCO Film 02 Pack across Lightroom Classic, Lightroom, and Photoshop (Adobe Camera Raw), and you can watch it below:
