Liverpool will look to maintain its pursuit of UEFA Champions League qualification on Saturday as it hosts a West Ham team looking to edge its way out of the relegation zone in the English Premier League.
The Reds left it late to claim a 1-0 away win against struggling Nottingham Forest last weekend, thanks to a 97th-minute winning goal from Argentine midfielder Alexis Mac Allister. The victory leaves Arne Slot's men just three points outside the all-important top five.
That result also provided a boost for their visitors this afternoon, with Forest's loss and West Ham's own creditable draw against in-form Bournemouth last Saturday. That means the Hammers could potentially climb out of the relegation zone at Forest's expense with a win on Merseyside.
Liverpool takes on West Ham on Saturday, Feb. 28, at Anfield, with kickoff set for 3 p.m. GMT. That makes it a 10 a.m. ET or 7 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and a 2 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia early on Sunday morning.
