The end of The Boys is about to begin. Prime Video's massively popular superhero satire, created by Eric Kripke and inspired by the Garth Ennis and Darrick Robertson comic run, follows a group of corporate-owned Supes and the resistance fighters working tirelessly to take them down. Season 5 of the show will bring this core story to an end, and by the looks of the new trailer, it's going to be an explosive bloodbath.
It's clear that The Boys fandom is passionate, and many viewers have their own expectations for the new episodes. I'm no exception. After that eventful season 4 finale and the events that transpired in Gen V season 2, the hype for the landmark series' return is at an all-time high. Well, for me, anyway.
What do I want to happen in The Boys' final season? So many things. But in an effort to keep this article under a mile long, I've narrowed it down to five epic moments I can't wait for. If you're not caught up on The Boys or Gen V, tread lightly. There are major spoilers below.
Ashley's big superpower reveal
I never expected to see Ashley (Colby Minifie) survive and watch Victoria Neumann (Claudia Doumit) die, but here we are. Last season, Ashley manipulated her way into the CEO position at Vought. Her promotion was short-lived, though. When Sister Sage (Susan Heyward) -- the world's smartest Supe -- entered the picture, Ashley was pivoted into being more of a face for the company, without any real power.
Season 4's finale found Homelander on a tear, determined to destroy anyone with incriminating information about him or the company. Ashley fell under that category since she learned of Homelander's secret stash of Compound V. So, as any scrappy person would do, she broke into Homelander's apartment and injected herself with a vial of the blue goo with the motivation of making herself impervious to attack.
The last we saw of her, Ashley was experiencing some serious pain from the drug. As seen in the trailer for the fifth season, though, she looks as if she's in tip-top shape. So, seriously, what power did she get?

Soldier Boy better cut Homelander down to size
Homelander (Antony Starr) will reunite with his dear old dad in season 5. The question is, though, why? Why would he wake up Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) after the damage that was caused in the third season? Maybe it's to add to Homelander's power. After all, he is now running the government.
