GoKawiilWe believed, and now it’s finally happening: Ted Lasso returns for season 4 this summer, and Apple TV just announced the release date and debuted its first trailer.
Ted Lasso last aired new episodes in 2023, and its conclusion came with lots of uncertainty about the show’s future. Although it seemed like everyone in the cast, along with viewers, wanted the show to continue, season 3 appeared for a time like it was the end.
But last year Apple confirmed that Ted Lasso season 4 was officially coming.
And now, CEO Tim Cook just announced the release date and shared the first trailer.
Ted Lasso season 4 premieres Wednesday, August 5 on Apple TV with one episode, followed by weekly releases through October 7.

Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.
Much of the original cast is back for Ted Lasso’s new season, and rumors indicate we’re set to not only get season 4, but also seasons 5 and 6—completing a new three-season arc.
