GoKawiilUpdate: May 15, 2026 (5:36 PM ET): It appears that the Nest app is back online. Reports of an outage have significantly dropped and the Nest status page claims “everything is running smoothly.”
Update: May 15, 2026 (1:32 PM ET): Google has now acknowledged that there is an issue with the Nest app. The company has started responding to reports (1, 2, 3) with the following message:
Hey all, We are aware of an issue impacting the Nest app. We’re working on a fix ASAP and will circle back once this is resolved. Thank you for your patience.
