Here are the Mac models compatible with macOS Golden Gate
Apple announced last year that macOS Tahoe would be the last software version that supports pre-Apple silicon Macs.
And today’s macOS 27 confirmed that Intel Macs are no longer supported. You’ll need an Apple silicon model to run the latest software.

MacBook Neo (2026)
MacBook Air with Apple silicon (2020 and later)
MacBook Pro with Apple silicon (2020 and later)
iMac with Apple silicon (2021 and later)
