Heads up, parents. Microsoft just released an update to their Xbox Family Settings app for iPhone and iPad that adds new console parental controls.

Here’s what’s new in today’s Xbox Family Settings app update:

Introducing App Blocks & Limits. Parents can now set time limits for individual apps and games, block access to selected titles, review requests for additional app and game time, and create customized schedules with new Weekly, Weekend, and Custom scheduling options.

Sounds like a useful way for parents to remotely manage Xbox access without directly accessing the console.

You can download Xbox Family Settings for iPhone and iPad from the App Store.

Meanwhile, Apple is overhauling its Screen Time parental control settings for iPhone, iPad, and more with iOS 27.
