Why This Matters

Satechi’s new color-matched accessories for the MacBook Neo enhance user experience by offering seamless integration, increased connectivity, and personalized aesthetics. These accessories address the need for versatile, stylish, and functional peripherals that complement the Neo’s unique design, benefiting both consumers and the tech industry by setting a standard for colorful, cohesive accessory ecosystems.

Key Takeaways

A few months back, the MacBook Neo took the tech world by storm, delivering the best-value laptop of 2026. Even after the recent price increase, it remains the most recommended entry-level laptop for most people. And just like Apple’s other cost-effective products, they brought some playful colors into the mix, like Citrus, Blush, Indigo, and Silver, giving these MacBooks a pop of personality and color. But one gripe I had was that most MacBook accessories are color-matched to the traditional silver or space grey colors. That is where Satechi comes in with their new trio of color-matched accessories for the MacBook Neo. They add more ports, connectivity, and functionality without taking away from what makes the Neo visually unique. Here is what you should know!

I have actually reviewed the big brother version of this product before and loved it. This is the most versatile accessory of Satechi’s new collection. It turns one of your USB-C ports into 5 additional ports, and the form factor is great. It is about the size of a hockey puck and also includes a MagSafe. So you can use this with your MacBook Neo and your iPhone. The USB-C hub gets you:

4K video output at up to 60Hz over HDMI

USB-C pass-through charging up to 60W

USB-C port with transfer speeds up to 5Gbps

USB-A port with transfer speeds up to 5Gbps

Full-size SD card reader

A nice integrated nylon-braided USB-C cable

Since this has MagSafe capabilities, they included an adhesive magnetic ring to attach to the lid of your MacBook Neo. Not only that, but they also color-matched the metal ring to the Neo’s color! So if you are not using the adapter, then the magnetic ring does not stick out like a sore thumb. As I mentioned, this is my personal favorite of the bunch because it can be used in a ton of different ways. It’s compact, well-built, has the main ports most people would need, and works with multiple devices.

The OntheGo Multiport adapter comes in the same MacBook Neo colors and is available today for $44.99 on Amazon and Satechi’s site.
