Why This Matters

Google's new open enrollment for Pixel Care+ offers Pixel 9 and 10 owners a rare chance to add device protection after purchase, providing peace of mind against accidental damage, theft, and other issues. This development is significant for consumers seeking flexible insurance options and for the tech industry as it highlights Google's evolving approach to device support and customer service. It also underscores the increasing importance of accessible device protection in a competitive smartphone market.
