In some games, Roblox may use a security check called remote attestation that lets us confirm:
You’re playing on a real, physical device .
. The Roblox app hasn’t been modified and is running on a trusted operating system version.
This helps keep games fair and safe by making it much harder to use cheat tools or modified apps.
Why am I seeing a message about my device not meeting security requirements?
You may see one of the following messages when attempting to join a game:
"This place has enabled additional hardware security requirements. Please run Roblox on a supported device."
“Roblox was not able to verify the integrity of the game. Please ensure your operating system is trusted and up-to-date, then reinstall Roblox from an official download location.”
“This place requires a trusted operating system. Please run Roblox on a supported device and ensure the bootloader is locked.”
