The CPU benchmark data below is clear: the 9800X3D is a performance beast for gaming, and without massive power demands. It offers the best performance per watt compared to its rivals, including over the newer AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D. In fact, our data shows that the difference in FPS between the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and Ryzen 7 9850X3D is just 3%, and that's at 1080p. The gap is closed even further at 1440p and 4K, which we'd expect you to be playing at with a rig like this.
