To celebrate the show’s return, Apple’s marketing team has cooked up something special: a Ted look-alike contest happening in New York City.

This Thursday, August 6 at 5:00pm in the Apple Fifth Avenue Plaza will be the “gathering of the Teds.”

Per the official website, gatheringoftheteds.com, the contest involves three rounds, each of which will bring eliminations:

Round one (“Ted Energy”) will be based on guest participation in the contest game of introducing themselves in character and having a two minute dance break. […] Round two (“Head Coach”) will be based on the semi-finalist’s participation in a trivia game and the level to which each participant embraces the Ted Lasso character. […] In Round Three (“Ted Talk”) the contestant will present a short pep talk to the crowd.
