Dubbed the Moto Snap, this unverified accessory looks poised to rival Apple’s MagSafe and serve as the perfect companion for the Motorola Edge 70 Max.
Apple popularized magnetic wireless charging years ago, setting an industry benchmark for convenience. Google recently embraced the standard, completely integrating it into its flagship hardware. However, legacy Android brands have noticeably lagged in adopting native magnetic charging. This latest leak from the Evleaks account on X indicates Motorola is bridging that critical feature gap.
The leaked images showcase a purported charging pad that represents a drastic departure from Motorola’s existing power accessories, which are relatively bulky upright desktop docks designed to hold a phone at a fixed angle. The rumored Moto Snap takes a radically different, highly portable approach.

The leak shows the new device is a sleek, flat, circular charging puck bearing the classic Motorola logo dead center. It terminates in a modern USB-C connector and features a durable-looking braided white cable, giving it a decidedly premium aesthetic.
We also get a clear view of the front, back, and the slim side profile of the puck. The underside sports a smooth silver finish etched with subtle “designed by Motorola” branding near the cable joint. There’s a distinct blue accent ring wrapping tightly around the perimeter of the pad.
