It’s been nearly two years since Mark Gurman published an extensive report on the new product commonly called ‘HomePad.’
Apple reportedly intended to launch it in early 2025, but unforeseen delays to Siri AI led the product to get pushed back. Now, we’re expecting it to debut as early as next month.
I’ve been very excited for the HomePad since those first details were shared. And though the wait has been longer than expected, it’s still one of my most anticipated Apple products.
There are several rumored features that make me interested in putting a HomePad in nearly every room of my house—depending on the price. Those features include:
Siri AI, which is far more useful than the old Siri
Slideshows and Memories from Apple Photos
Security camera functionality
Apple Music with artwork and lyrics onscreen
