GoKawiiliOS 27 beta hints Apple Intelligence coming to Apple TV 4K and HomePod
A new beta of iOS 27 quietly adds an 'Apple Intelligence Report' toggle inside the Home app for Apple TV and HomePod devices, according to a post from Apple Home Authority on X. The option only appears when the TV or speaker is running the paired tvOS 27 or HomePod 27 beta, suggesting Apple is laying groundwork for AI features on these products rather than just iPhones. Apple notably left tvOS and HomePod out of its WWDC messaging about a unified Siri experience, fueling speculation about unreleased hardware.

If confirmed, this would extend Apple's AI push beyond phones and tablets into the living room and smart speaker categories, aligning Siri's capabilities across the whole ecosystem. It also raises the possibility that current-generation Apple TV and HomePod owners could receive some AI features via software rather than needing new hardware, which would broaden Apple Intelligence's reach ahead of expected new hardware releases this fall.
- An Apple Intelligence Report toggle has appeared in iOS 27's Home app settings for Apple TV and HomePod.
- The feature requires devices to run tvOS 27 or HomePod 27 betas, not just iOS 27 on an iPhone.
- This follows earlier signs of Siri AI support being developed for tvOS, hinting at new hardware or software updates this fall.
Apple TV 4K (Wi‑Fi + Ethernet) — If Siri AI features are heading to the Apple TV platform, the Apple TV 4K is the box to have at the center of your living room. It streams in 4K HDR, runs tvOS with the full App Store, and doubles as a home hub for your HomeKit accessories and the Home app.
