Beta 8 is here for iPadOS 27 and more, with RC expected next week
Apple’s next major software versions are nearly ready to ship. And today’s beta 8 releases are expected to offer further bug fixes and refinements toward that end.

These are likely to be the final beta updates before RC versions debut next Wednesday following Apple’s September launch event.
Aside from performance improvements and under-the-hood fixes, we’re not expecting any other user-facing changes in today’s betas.
Apple always keeps certain features in its major OS versions hidden until the RC builds are released.
For example, watchOS 27 could debut new health features and watch faces that haven’t been seen yet in the beta, but will be unveiled alongside new Watch hardware next week.
Otherwise though, today’s latest wave of betas offers very close to the final shipping software that will launch to all users in a couple weeks.
