Meet Dyson's Newest Vacs
Dyson launched its next generation of vacuums this week at IFA 2026. There's a new line of robot vacuums called the Nurovi line, one of which also looks to be a second generation of the Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai I reviewed earlier this year. The PencilWash also has a new version with a docking station. Here's everything new coming up:
Dyson R3 Nurovi Spot+Scrub UV ($1,299): The Spot+Scrub robot vacuum introduced last year gets a refresh with a feature called “UV-enhanced AI” to find stains and clean them. It reminds me of a vacuum I already love, so I'm curious to see how Dyson's vacuum compares.

Dyson R2 Nurovi Wash+Dry ($699): The second of the Nurovi robot vacuum line is a much more affordable robot vacuum and mop option from Dyson, and the brand says it uses Reuleaux triangle cleaning pads to reach corners. I'll have to wait to test it myself, but it's nice to see such an affordable option from Dyson.

I'd probably just spend a little more and get the mopping features too, but I plan to compare it to the Dyson V10 Konical and V8 Cyclone to see if you might be happier choosing a robot over a stick vacuum.

Dyson W1 PencilWash + Dok ($TK): The PencilWash, a wet cleaner version of the super-slim PencilVac, which came out earlier this year. But now, there's already a new version that promises a better roller-and-waste system, as well as a self-cleaning dock.
The robot vacuums are all expected to become available this month, while the new PencilWash is due out sometime this fall.
