Discounts on brand-new flagship foldables rarely appear this soon after release, signaling either strong supply or early competitive pressure in the premium foldable market. For buyers weighing a costly foldable purchase, this offers a meaningful entry point before prices typically stabilize.
- Galaxy Z Fold 8 now costs $1,649.99 on Amazon, down from $1,899.99
- It's the first Amazon price cut seen for this recently launched device
- The phone features a 7.6-inch main display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and 5,000mAh battery
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 — This is the deal itself: Samsung's latest book-style foldable with a 7.6-inch main display that opens into a tablet-sized canvas for split-screen work and reading. The wider outer screen makes it comfortable to use closed, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy handles Samsung's on-device AI multitasking tricks with ease.
