Amazon has cut the price of Samsung's Galaxy S26 Ultra (Sky Blue, 256GB) to $953, a $347 reduction from its $1,299.99 list price, in a deal set to expire tonight. The discount is only slightly better than the Prime Day price and matches close to the lowest price recorded for the device, which currently holds a 4.6-star rating from buyers.
Amazon has cut the price of Samsung's newly released Galaxy Z Fold 8 by $250, bringing it down from $1,899.99 to $1,649.99, a 13% reduction. It's the first time the retailer has discounted the foldable since launch.
An Android Authority reviewer who tested every major US book-style foldable this year says Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, despite leading on specs like its Snapdragon chip and camera system, isn't the phone they'd actually choose to carry. The device also includes a 200MP main camera, 5x periscope telephoto, 100W wired charging, Bose-tuned sound, and a company spokesperson says pricing will land under $800 when it launches globally, though it won't be sold in the US.

The budget-friendly Motorola Edge (2026) finished a close second, trailing by just 54 votes, while the pricier Pixel 11 Pro came in third with about 18.5% support.
