Design and durability: New case options, Ceramic Shield 2, more
Apple Watch Series 12 comes in the same 42mm and 46mm options as before, but with some design and durability updates.
In terms of case options, Apple Watch Series 12 debuts a new Dark Bronze aluminum finish and also introduces Ceramic, which is available in Pearl White and Night Blue.
Aluminum models of Series 12 add Ceramic Shield 2 for tougher, more durable glass than what comparable Series 11 models had.
Additionally, there are minor size tweaks with the latest models:
42mm model is 37mm tall, up from Series 11’s 36mm
46mm model is 40mm tall, up from Series 11’s 39mm
The screen size remains the same, but the case being slightly larger results in bigger bezels.
