GoKawiilLooking ahead: It's been less than a week since Apple introduced its first foldable and refreshed Pro-grade iPhones, yet attention is already turning to the next chapter. On deck through the first half of 2027 are more than a dozen new products spanning multiple categories.
According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple will enter 2027 with three new iPhones on deck including the iPhone 18, the iPhone Air 2, and the entry-level iPhone 18e. The standard 18 and the Air 2 will be powered by Apple's A20 chip, and the latter will receive a second camera for ultra-wide photography.
Apple also has refreshed iPads ready to go for early next year. A new budget-friendly model will target kids and students, we're told, while updated iPad Pro models will get a chip upgrade and perhaps a vapor chamber cooler for improved thermals. The iPad Air line, meanwhile, will reportedly receive an OLED screen for the first time, plus the usual chip bump.
A pair of new Apple Pencil styluses are also expected to debut around the same time as the updated iPads. These will also be compatible with the new iPhone Duo. On the Mac front, Apple is said to be working on new 13- and 15-inch MacBook Air models as well as a follow-up to the popular MacBook Neo.
It's worth noting that consumers won't have to wait until the calendar rolls over to get new Apple hardware as several additional products are also due out by the end of 2026.
Highlights include a new HomePod mini smart speaker with Siri AI, a long overdue Apple TV refresh with Siri AI, a pair of new high-end touchscreen MacBooks, and a smart-home hub meant to "bring Siri AI to life." There's also a new version of the iPad mini on deck, plus a new iMac, and an updated entry-level MacBook Pro.
It's too early to know how newly minted CEO John Ternus will do at Apple, but he's certainly coming out of the gate with a slew of new products for the masses.
