GoKawiilPrime Video has gotten into the megabundle game. The Amazon service announced on Tuesday that a new streaming package featuring Starz, AMC Plus, BritBox, MGM Plus and PBS Masterpiece will now be available for subscribers directly on its platform. It costs $30 per month.
That price may feel steep when you add up all the other services you pay for, but Prime Video notes that bundled together, you’ll save $19 per month, nearly 39%, compared to subscribing to each streamer individually.
This is the first time these five specific streamers have come together to offer a bundle to customers. It’s separate from your Prime Video subscription and is available as an add-on in the platform’s subscription section.
AMC Plus and Starz are the most noteworthy of the bunch, with The Walking Dead universe and Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire series on the former, and P-Valley, along with hit franchises like Power and Outlander on the latter. MGM Plus features original programming like the genre hit From and the much-anticipated drama American Hostage, along with films from the MGM library. Tapping into the realm of British programming and documentaries are the likes of BritBox and PBS Masterpiece.
“Today marks a milestone for our customers, the launch of the first-ever five-service streaming bundle on Prime Video,” said Ryan Pirozzi, head of Prime Video Channels in the US. “With AMC Plus, MGM Plus, BritBox, PBS Masterpiece, and Starz together, Prime Video customers get the premium entertainment they love, all in one place.”
This is the latest move by Prime Video to offer bundled programming to subscribers. There’s the Hallmark Plus and Starz bundle, which you can get for $14 after a seven-day trial, and the Crunchyroll and Fox One bundle, which launched last week, is available through the platform for a limited time. If you’re interested in subscribing to the new five-service super-bundle, you can do so directly through Prime Video.
