GoKawiilDell Pro 7 4K webcam pairs strong video with standout built-in microphones
Dell's new Pro 7 webcam captures 4K video at up to 60fps and adds Windows Hello support, presence detection, and dual beam-forming microphones that reviewers say outperform typical webcam audio. Priced at $199.99, it competes directly with premium rivals like the Logitech MX Brio and Insta360 Link 2 4K.
GoKawiil's interpretation of the reporting above, not reported fact.
Most video calls cap streams at 1080p or lower, so the appeal of a 4K webcam depends less on resolution and more on extras like audio quality, security features, and build design. Dell's focus on strong built-in mics suggests webcam makers are shifting differentiation toward audio and smart features rather than raw pixel count, in an increasingly crowded premium webcam market.

- Built-in dual beam-forming mics are a standout, rare strength for webcam audio
- At $199.99 it faces stiff competition from Logitech and Insta360 4K webcams
