Dell has launched the Pro 5 (WB526), a compact 2K QHD webcam aimed at office workers, featuring a Sony sensor, 78-degree field of view, autofocus, and a physical lens shutter. The device supports Windows Hello, includes an anti-theft cable lock, and offers AI-driven features like auto-framing and face tracking, alongside a built-in microphone. It's priced at $119.99, currently discounted to $114.99.
At IFA 2026, Microsoft's Mark Linton said an internal Windows 11 build shows notable gains in boot speed and Windows Hello responsiveness, alongside earlier promises that the OS will run well on 8GB machines. No timeline for public rollout or performance data was shared, and the changes haven't yet reached testing channels.
Dell introduced the Dell 14S at IFA 2026, a student-focused laptop offered in four colors—beige, pink, blue, and green—with configurations starting at 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, scalable to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB SSD.
