The deal reflects how retailers use Prime Day events to push midrange gaming PCs, a segment the reviewer notes has had fewer standout discounts compared to entry-level or high-end builds. Buyers get components still competitive for 1080p/1440p gaming with upscaling features, though the modest 1TB storage could mean extra cost or effort managing a game library over time.
- Skytech's Harpy prebuilt now costs $1799, a 22% price cut during a Prime Day promotion.
- Specs include a Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, RTX 5070 GPU with 12GB VRAM, and 32GB DDR5-6000 memory.
- The build has only a 1TB SSD, which may require users to manage storage space for large game libraries.
