GoKawiilDelta emulator 2.0 adds iPhone Duo support and Sega Genesis ROMs
Retro game emulator Delta has released version 2.0, adding a Liquid Glass interface redesign and dedicated support for the foldable iPhone Duo. The update includes custom controller skins for Nintendo DS layouts that adapt to the device's various folded poses, Sega Genesis ROM compatibility, improved library navigation, and audio settings that let game sound mix with music or podcasts.

The release shows developers beginning to design specifically for Apple's foldable form factor rather than simply scaling existing apps, which could set an early template for how multi-screen gaming apps handle split view and folded states. Delta's trick of letting a 'keyboard' view stretch across a split-screen boundary suggests developers may find creative workarounds to the iPhone Duo's standard 50/50 split-view constraints.
- Delta 2.0 brings tailored Nintendo DS controller layouts for the iPhone Duo's folded and unfolded states
- The update adds Sega Genesis ROM support, better library navigation, and background audio mixing
- A split-view trick lets Delta's virtual keyboard overlap another app, bypassing the usual 50/50 screen division
