GoKawiilCanva rolls out Craft AI image generator to all users, including free tier
Canva has introduced Craft, its first dedicated AI image generation tool, and made it available to both free and paid account holders. The feature adds to Canva's existing suite of design tools, templates, and editing options within its browser-based platform.
GoKawiil's interpretation of the reporting above, not reported fact.
Making an AI image generator free rather than paid-only could pressure rival design tools to widen access to similar features, and may help Canva retain casual users who might otherwise turn to standalone AI image apps. The move also signals Canva's continued push to fold generative AI directly into everyday design workflows rather than treating it as a premium add-on.
- Craft is Canva's first AI image generation tool.
- It is available on both free and paid Canva plans.
- The launch expands Canva's broader suite of design, editing, and collaboration features.
