GoKawiilDiscord to publish searchable web pages for large public servers
Discord announced that Discoverable Servers with more than 1,000 members will get dedicated web pages summarizing community descriptions and public channel conversations, making them findable through search engines like Google and DuckDuckGo. Private DMs, group chats, and non-discoverable servers will remain unaffected, and admins can opt out via Server settings > Web presence.

The change follows recent scrutiny over Discord's age verification practices, suggesting the platform may be trying to balance growth and discoverability with ongoing privacy concerns. Server admins and members who assumed their public channel chats were effectively obscure may now find those conversations indexed and searchable, raising questions about consent and awareness for large community members.
- Servers with 1,000+ members will get searchable Server Web Pages showing descriptions and conversation summaries.
- Private DMs, group chats, and non-discoverable servers remain unaffected by the change.
- Admins can opt out or limit which channels appear via Server settings > Web presence.
