Coco 2 Is Officially in the Works at Pixar

During today’s Disney Company investor shareholders meeting, CEO Bob Iger shared that the studio and Pixar are officially working on a sequel to their Academy Award-winning animated feature Coco. The excitement for the family film starring Gael Garcia Bernal and Anthony Gonzales, which opened up the world to the Dia de los Muertos traditions in Mexico, has not died down. Its story of Miguel, a kid who accidentally crosses over to the land of the dead and goes on an adventure to reconnect with his family, captured hearts all over the globe. This is what we know about Coco 2 from Iger’s announcement: “While the film is just in the initial stages, we know it will be full of humor, heart, and adventure.
