GoKawiilRaspberry Pi hikes 16GB Pi 5 price to $385 amid DRAM shortage
Raspberry Pi CEO Eben Upton announced another price increase for the 16GB Raspberry Pi 5, now priced at $385, up $80 from before. The 16GB Compute Module 5 also rises by $40, while the Raspberry Pi 500+ keeps its current price despite having 16GB of RAM. Upton attributed the hike to ongoing shortages of 16GB DRAM modules and a lack of alternative suppliers.
