AZZA's PSAZ-750G 750W PSU claims 80 PLUS Gold but lacks certification, testing shows

Tom's Hardware tested AZZA's PSAZ-750G, a $78 750W power supply built on a Helly platform and marketed with an 80 PLUS Gold logo, an ATX 3.1 rating and a native 12V-2x6 connector. The review found the unit's efficiency fell just short of actual Gold-tier performance at half load, and the Gold badge is not backed by any official certification. It also ships with hardwired cables and a 12V-2x6 connector limited to 450W despite the unit's 750W rating.

Thermalright's $91 KG750 power supply is an HKC-built unit with barely-there Gold efficiency

Tom's Hardware tested the Thermalright TR-KG750, a 750W ATX 3.1 power supply built for Thermalright by OEM manufacturer HKC. The unit squeaks past 80 PLUS Gold certification at 115 VAC, lacks any Cybenetics efficiency or noise rating, uses mostly unbranded internal components, and pairs mediocre voltage regulation and ripple suppression with a sleeve-bearing fan that runs constantly and gets loud under load.
