Creative director Mike Lacher built and shared a free browser-based parody titled "Triple-A Minesweeper," which wraps the classic Windows game in modern AAA trappings: engine/audio-tech splash screens, cinematic loading sequences, a hand-holding handler character named Nora, and chatty side characters like 'The Don,' 'Clyde,' 'Dr. K,' and 'DJ Dan.' The parody even jokes about future 'loot boxes and brand integrations' supposedly arriving next year, and Nora visibly highlights safe tiles during play.
Reddit users have reported redeeming Microsoft Rewards and Xbox Mastercard points to pre-order Grand Theft Auto 6 at no extra cost. One user, Financial_Specific24, used points earned from Xbox Mastercard purchases, while another, Automatic_Ad1665, accumulated Microsoft Rewards through routine daily tasks. GTA 6's Standard Edition costs $80 and the Ultimate Edition $100.
AAA reported the national average diesel price reached $6.05 a gallon on Friday, up from $5.85 the prior week and $3.70 a year ago, as the conflict between the U.S. and Iran disrupts global fuel supplies. Regular gasoline also rose to $4.29 a gallon, tracking a jump in both Brent and U.S. crude oil above $100 a barrel for the first time in months.
