It uses a three-stage filtration system—a washable pre-filter, a main filter, and an activated carbon filter containing 140 grams of carbon—plus a U-shaped air inlet designed to capture pet hair and improve airflow. Levoit claims the device can eliminate up to 70% of odors within an hour.
