Cursor launches Agent SDK for building custom code-based agents

Cursor has released the Agent SDK, the same framework it uses internally to build managed agents like Bugbot, Security Reviewer, and Rollouts. Developers can define agents in code, starting from a template or using Cursor's documentation, then deploy them to Cursor's infrastructure with a single command. An internal Cursor team used the SDK to build 'kb-reviewer' in about a day, an agent that checks every pull request against the team's knowledge base of past lessons.

Mistral launches Voxtral 3 voice agent models and SDK

Mistral AI has released Voxtral 3, a family of speech-to-text and text-to-speech models paired with a voice agent SDK that combines listening, reasoning, tool-calling and speaking in one real-time pipeline. The system supports over 50 languages and is designed for multi-step conversational tasks like contact-center support and hands-free assistants. It's available through Mistral's EU-hosted API or for self-deployment on customer infrastructure.
