GoKawiilAnthropic, OpenAI and Nvidia post record Q3 lobbying spend
Federal disclosures show Anthropic, OpenAI and Nvidia each logged their highest-ever quarterly lobbying spend between July and September. Nvidia led with $2.2 million, followed by Anthropic at $2.1 million and OpenAI at $1.5 million. Anthropic disclosed engagement on bills including KOSA's AI provisions, the AI Overwatch Act, an executive order renaming AI policy, and a data-center energy cost bill, while OpenAI lobbied on cybersecurity evaluations, safety oversight frameworks and antitrust protections for information sharing.
