Meta's Muse AI assistant stores user data on dedicated virtual machines
Muse, Meta's new AI personal assistant, has reached No. 1 on the U.S. App Store with over 5 million downloads since launching last month. Each user's Muse runs on its own dedicated virtual machine in Meta's cloud, building a file of personal information drawn from connected accounts like email and Instagram, and users can request an export of that data. Meta says this data collection is intentional and is not shared with its advertising systems or other Muse agents.
