GoKawiiliOS 27.2 lets developers auto-transfer app data when retiring an old app
Apple's upcoming iOS 27.2 update will introduce a system-managed migration flow that lets developers move a user's data and settings from a discontinued app to its official replacement before deleting the old one. Code found in the first beta shows users will be prompted with an alert offering to 'Move App Data and Settings' or 'Don't Move Anything,' with a follow-up warning if they decline.
