Google confirms some Android apps run worse on Intel-based Googlebooks than Qualcomm models

Google told Android Authority that certain Android apps may not perform as well on its new Intel-powered Googlebooks compared to versions running Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite chips. The company said most apps run smoothly on both platforms, but a subset of complex apps or games originally built for Arm processors need developer tuning to work well on Intel's x86 architecture. Google did not identify which apps are affected, and the disclosure came only after the five new Googlebooks went on sale.
