Cloudflare launches competition to build agent-native Git platform on Artifacts

Cloudflare is inviting developers to build a next-generation code collaboration platform on top of Artifacts, its versioned filesystem that speaks Git and can scale to millions of repositories, now in open beta. The company is framing this as infrastructure for coordinating large numbers of AI coding agents working simultaneously on the same codebase, rather than human-centric workflows like branches and pull requests. Entrants would use Cloudflare Workers and Artifacts as the underlying primitives, while building the coordination, review and merge layer themselves.

Rickub launches self-hosted Git platform with built-in AI code review 'Athena'

Rickub is a new Git hosting platform that bundles organization and repository management, merge requests, and an integrated AI reviewer called Athena that leaves inline comments and verdicts on every merge request. It also supports running existing GitHub Actions workflows unchanged, hosting OCI artifacts like container images, Helm charts, SBOMs and WASM in the same namespace as code, and offers CLI, API and MCP access using one token and permission model.

Anthropic adds document and slide creation directly inside Claude chats

Anthropic introduced Claude Docs, letting users request documents such as briefs directly in a conversation, with options to share them privately or export to Google Docs and Microsoft Word. The company also added in-chat slide creation, exportable as PowerPoint or PDF, and merged the separate Cowork and Artifacts tools into a single unified interface.

Attackers exploit shareable AI features on Claude, ChatGPT and Grok to spread malware

Huntress' Security Operations Center reports that over the past nine months, attackers have been abusing legitimate sharing features on AI platforms—like Claude Artifacts, claude.ai/share links, and indexable ChatGPT and Grok conversations—to distribute malware. These campaigns exploit the trust users place in familiar AI branding, often surviving only hours or days before the platforms take the content down.

Spanish cave yields 120 Roman inscriptions honoring unknown goddess 'Domina'

Archaeologists exploring a cave in Spain discovered roughly 120 Roman-era inscriptions dedicated to a previously unrecorded deity referred to as 'Domina.' Evidence suggests the cave site may have held ritual or religious importance dating back even further, potentially to the Stone Age.
