FCSS 2 is a utility CSS library where each class name maps directly to a CSS property and value, such as padding--24 for padding: 24px, removing the need for a separate naming convention. It supports hover, ARIA and breakpoint variants within class names, outputs plain CSS with no runtime, and relies on a build step to purge unused classes. It currently integrates with Vite, Next.js, Astro and Angular, requires Node.js 20.19+ or Bun, and does not yet scan Vue or Svelte files for class usage.

Developer CursedIfElse's SharpEmu emulator now runs 10 tested PS5 games in a playable state, with six hitting 60fps, including Astro Bot and the Demon's Souls remaster. Separately, KytyPS5, a new offshoot of the PS4 emulator Kyty, launched its first public build last week and already lists 134 titles with controllable gameplay, though many still have game-breaking bugs. A third project, AnyPS5, takes a different approach by relinking original PS5 executable code to run natively on PC rather than fully emulating the console.

Two independent PlayStation 5 emulation projects, SharpEmu and KytyPS5, have gone from no public releases to running games like the Demon's Souls remake and Astro Bot at playable framerates within months. KytyPS5 has reportedly hit 40-50fps on high-end PC hardware, while other titles such as Wolverine can only reach a menu screen at around 2fps. Both projects publish frequent GitHub updates and have policies restricting use of AI-generated code.
