Benjamin Rosen, the Wall Street analyst turned venture investor who helped bring Apple to Morgan Stanley for its IPO and later financed Compaq and Lotus, has died at age 93. He was widely credited with convincing skeptical investors and institutions that personal computers were a serious business, not a passing fad.
