Several significant features committed to the PostgreSQL 19 development branch have been pulled during the beta period, an unusually high number compared to past release cycles. A PostgreSQL developer involved in some of the affected patches says the reverts stemmed from a mix of factors, including architectural flaws and a surge of edge-case bug reports surfaced partly through LLM-assisted code review.
