Developer Ryan Madden reports that GPT-5.6 Sol, running in Codex with low thinking level, completed a peaceful (no-biters) Factorio playthrough through rocket launch in 13.5 hours of in-game time. Sol interacted with the game through a Python library that enforced the same GUI-style restrictions human players face, such as player reach and fog of war, and Madden tracked production statistics and science milestones throughout the run.
