JLab's Go Sport Plus true wireless earbuds, designed with over-ear hooks for workouts, are currently discounted on Amazon to $24.99 from their $31.99 list price, a 22% cut. The earbuds feature IP55 sweat resistance, Bluetooth 5.3, Google Fast Pair, and over 35 hours of combined battery life via the case.
Despite the shift toward wireless devices, many high-end and gaming keyboards remain wired or offer no Bluetooth option at all, largely because of measurable input delay. Bluetooth connections introduce a few extra milliseconds of lag between a keypress and its registration on a computer, which barely matters for typing but can affect gaming or music production. A 2.4GHz USB dongle connection offers a faster alternative to Bluetooth, often approaching wired performance for latency-sensitive tasks.

A new app called ZuckOff scans nearby Bluetooth signals to alert users when smart camera glasses like Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta, or Snap Spectacles are in the vicinity. The app processes everything locally on the phone, requires no account, and lets users log all detected devices, mark their own glasses to silence alerts, and export scan history as CSV. It also sells branded merchandise through Fourthwall to help fund development.
Polish developer Pawel Szydlowski built ZuckOff, a free Bluetooth scanning app that identifies nearby smart glasses from Meta and Snap by matching device signals to fingerprints he compiled from purchased hardware. The app has drawn over 5,000 downloads on Apple's App Store and 1,000 on Google Play within its first month.
Testing from Polling Rate Test shows Microsoft's Xbox controllers report input at roughly the same 125Hz rate whether connected via USB cable or the proprietary Xbox Wireless Adapter, translating to about eight milliseconds of potential delay in either case. Bluetooth connections, by contrast, add an extra four to eight milliseconds of lag, varying with interference from nearby wireless devices.
CarPlay allows multiple iPhones to be paired with a single vehicle, but only one can actively project the interface at a time. Bose is releasing two open-ear earbud models on October 1: the Ultra Open Earbuds (2nd Gen), an update to its 2024 flagship, and the all-new Bose Sport Open Earbuds. The Ultra model keeps its cuff-clip design but adds a beveled finish, wireless charging case, improved bass driver, Cinema Mode spatial audio, and up to nine hours of battery life. Polish developer Pawel Szydlowski launched an iPhone app called Zuckoff that uses Bluetooth signals to detect and estimate the distance of Meta's AI smart glasses, which have faced criticism for enabling covert recording. The app has attracted about 5,000 users and interest from EU regulators, while separately Meta is reportedly developing a camera-free version of its glasses and rolling out paid subscription tiers for its social apps to offset heavy losses at its Reality Labs division.
Soundboks has released the Rider, a portable speaker built with a steel grille, rubber corners and a thick plastic body designed to survive drops and heavy use. It features a user-replaceable battery that charges over USB-C, but skips the multi-speaker wireless linking, stand mount and XLR inputs found on Soundboks' larger Mix and 4 models.
Amazon is currently discounting the W-King D10 Bluetooth speaker by 29%, bringing its price down to $85. The speaker is marketed for outdoor use, including parties, camping trips, and backyard gatherings.
